Save thousands in energy costs! The
CAP™ Clean Air Plant (CAP) is the first bio-hygienic air treatment system that works in real time, indoors or outdoors.
Compact and portable, CAP systems employ an advanced bio-filtration technology that miniaturizes the process of biological oxidation. These systems can be placed indoors or outside, anywhere that an economical, effective solution is needed.
Using natural microorganisms and their enzymes, the CAP destroys volatile organic compounds (VOCs), eliminates odors and fumes, and removes solids and particulates from the air. CAPs provide a single technology that does not have to be combined with other systems for a complete solution to indoor air quality and industrial air emissions. Bio-hygienics is superior to carbon and thermal treatment and can be used in many different applications.
By employing a CAP, companies save thousands in costs every day by:
- Reducing costly air turnover
- Lowering energy consumption
- Eliminating multiple treatment technologies, and
- Reducing maintenance activities.
Industrial Air Emissions/Odor Control
Odor control is a major problem for industry and the surrounding community. Some processes mask odors, while others reduce odors. CAPs destroy odors at the source through the bio-hygienic process. CAPs can help you lower your costs and improve community relations.
Superior to Venting
Odors and contaminants that are persistent, travel on particulates. These particulates are electrically charged. Their motion is controlled by electrical fields not by air flow. CAPs capture and destroy odors and contaminants indoors and in real time, saving energy, improving health and safety, and preventing pollution from being dispersed or displaced
Superior to Carbon
CAPs incorporate an advanced spiral-wound element design which eliminates channeling. And, CAPs treat contaminants that carbon cannot, like polar compounds, carbon monoxide and formaldehyde. Carbon quickly becomes saturated requiring frequent attention. CAPs will eliminate carbon replacement costs, and can even be used to regenerate the carbon bed.
Superior to Thermal Oxidation
Many times incinerators require more space than the actual manufacturing equipment. CAPs have a small footprint and are able to fit into very tight spaces. Since CAPs are biological they do not contribute to additional air pollution. They work at room temperature and will not increase energy consumption.
Remediation/MTBE Methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), BTX and other hydrocarbons are found in both soil and groundwater. Vapors stripped from soil in remediation projects can be captured and treated. CAPs have been used in conjunction with remediation systems to destroy all the vapors currently being released into the air.
