January 1998. A new, portable air cleaning system, which destroys air pollution, is now available from sgblue, inc., a biotechnology company in New Jersey. Using an innovative biotechnical process, sgblue, inc. has designed and distributes a wide range of air cleaning plants for industrial, commercial, and residential applications. The CAP™ Clean Air Plant removes heavy metals from the air and destroys organic contaminants, such as, fuels, solvents, pesticides, airborne particles, and toxic gases.
Unlike existing air cleaners which merely store contaminants for later disposal, the CAP is totally self-contained. CAPs draw in ambient air, remove airborne particulates, destroy fumes and contaminants, and internally circulate and clean their own washwater. There are no filters to replace. CAP's unique biological process utilizes self-replenishing enzymes to oxidize and destroy contaminants and purify the air. CAPs are ideal for cleaning plants, laboratories, warehouses, control rooms, garages, and homes.
CAPs are stand-alone units, which range in size from 12 to 36 inches diameter and 28 to 48 inches high, and weigh from 25 to 200 pounds. CAPs also can be designed for any specific need and can be scaled-up easily to handle several hundred thousand cubic feet of air per minute. Standard pricing for the individual units range from $2,499 to $25,000. sgblue, inc. can provide volume pricing information upon request.
