June 2002. A new, portable indoor air cleaning system for industrial, commercial, and residential applications is available from sgblue, inc.. The CAP™ Clean Air Plant uses a unique biological process to remove heavy metals and destroy toxic fumes and gases, such as, fuels, solvents, pesticides, mold, airborne particles, and smoke, including carbon monoxide.
Unlike existing air cleaners which merely trap contaminants for later disposal, CAPs actually digest air pollution. CAPs draw in ambient air, destroy fumes and contaminants, and remove airborne particulates. There are no filters to replace. CAP's unique process utilizes biological organisms and enzymes to oxidize and destroy contaminants and purify the air. CAPs are ideal for cleaning manufacturing plants, laboratories, warehouses, work shops, offices, garages, and homes.
CAPs are stand-alone, portable units, which can be placed anywhere in areas of high pollution. In large contaminated areas or in cases of accidental spills involving toxic gases or vapors, CAPs may be placed directly in the area of greatest concentration to minimize hazardous exposure. In smaller applications, CAPs can be placed anywhere to improve indoor air quality. CAPs also can be used to surpass OSHA standards for air in the workplace.
