January 1999. A new, portable indoor air cleaning system for industrial, commercial, and residential applications is now available from sgblue, inc., an environmental biotechnology company in New Jersey. The CAP™ Clean Air Plant uses a unique biological process to remove heavy metals and destroy organic contaminants, such as, fuels, solvents, pesticides, airborne particles, smoke, dust, pollen, mold, toxic fumes and gases, including carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and hydrogen cyanide.
Unlike existing air cleaners which merely store contaminants for later disposal, CAPs offer a natural solution. CAP's unique process utilizes biological organisms and enzymes to oxidize and destroy contaminants and purify the air. CAPs offer an alternative to people with allergies, asthma, and to those affected by environmental pollution. CAPs are ideal for cleaning the air in plants, laboratories, warehouses, control rooms, offices, garages, and homes.
CAPs are stand-alone, portable units, which can be placed anywhere in areas of high pollution concentrations to minimize exposure. CAPs can also be used to surpass OSHA standards for air in the workplace.
